Title: Use WeChat SMARTly Abstract: - Brief introduction & trends in China - We-relationship: WeChat CRM - We-shop as a premium shopping experience - We-Chat as a human Bio: I'm currently a Consumer Insight & Digital Marketing Specialist at Resonance. Graduating from Newcastle University, with a Masters degree in Media and Public Relations, I develop a great passion and communication skills on the cross-culture conversation, especially for brand positioning and storytelling through social media. Communication that based on an in-depth understanding of local people and local culture is utterly crucial, namely speaking in their ‘language,' and interacting with them ‘in context,' especially when it comes to the boundaries. I believe that there are lots of potentials for brands to engage with their consumers. However, they need to do it SMARTly. Previous cross-cultural experiences motivate me to explore more in different cultural contexts, and the local people, as the most representative cultural ambassadors, make me excited. My age gives me a unique sight of my fellow post-90s and a native skill of being digital, being mobile and being around with different applications on my phone.
